Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) as a Stepping Stone to Hybrid Multicloud

NetApp IT’s first IaaS offering, referred to as nCloud, allowed a small group of superusers to request virtual machines and storage from a service catalog within minutes, built on automation and a cloud decision framework. However, it was complex and required extra governance to maintain. The team has since rebuilt our IaaS offering, expanding the user community to include primary app support personnel and adding new features regularly.
