Presented by Matt Norton, Sr. Cloud Engineer for Cloud and Compute Services

NetApp IT recently introduced a second-generation infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) offering built on ServiceNow. From a self-service portal, users are able to register their business applications directly into the CMDB; provision and deprovision virtual machines, logical load balancers, storage (NAS, block, object); and perform “day-2” operations like start, stop, resize, etc. Join this session to watch a quick demo of the IaaS portal with its user interfaces and the architecture behind it.

Key Takeaways

  1. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the table-driven options
  2. Learn about what technology options were used to create an IaaS
  3. Discover what compute, storage, and load-balancer options are available with IaaS; plus the availability of a sandbox for POC testing

Matt Norton designs, implements, and supports infrastructure services for the NetApp global enterprise and creates user interfaces for the internal CloudOne platform that includes DevOps, IaaS, PaaS, DBaaS, and CaaS.
