Implementing Cloud Volumes ONTAP with Cloud Manager

January 21, 2021 by No Comments

For the past six years NetApp has used Amazon Web Services (AWS) for compute resources within their internal IT hybrid cloud environment. To increase their cloud adoption of storage, the IT team has added NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP® (CVO) for AWS to their storage portfolio in support of the corporate business applications that run the business. The team chose CVO because it runs ONTAP data management software with enterprise-grade efficiency, reliability, availability, and nondisruptive operations.

Get insider tips on how the NetApp IT team configured AWS services in multiple locations comprised of regions, availability zones, virtual networks, and subnets. Learn about the CVO deployment options considered and how they created a connector using NetApp Cloud Manager to deploy and manage resources and processes within AWS.
